The CyberActive project is a Belgian cybersecurity awareness and training initiative designed to help companies improve their cyber-resilience and cybersecurity skills.
It is a collaboration between Sirris, Howest, UCLouvain and Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
The project aims to share cybersecurity expertise with companies, especially those in manufacturing and digital services (e.g., SaaS and online platforms) through training and practical learning materials.
The project focuses on helping organisations:
- Increase cybersecurity awareness among employees and managers
- Improve cyber-resilience against threats like ransomware, data theft, or supply-chain attacks
- Understand and implement cybersecurity regulations, such as the EU’s NIS2 directive
- Develop practical action plans and investments for improving cybersecurity within companies
